Become a Streetcar Notary

Paid mobile signings across greater New Orleans, sent to your phone, on the evenings and weekends you choose — typically $95–$110 per signing. One krewe, two tracks: commissioned notaries drive the volume; attorney‑notaries (exam‑exempt) add the premium civil‑law work. The application takes about three minutes.

Stop 1: Eligibility

I hold an active Louisiana notary commission Parish-limited or statewide — either works. I'm a licensed Louisiana attorney Not commissioned yet? You're exam-exempt — commission by application, statewide. We'll point you through it. I have the NNA signing-agent package Certification + background screening from the National Notary Association — checking this fills in both boxes below. I'm an NNA-certified signing agent Required for loan signings only — general notary work doesn't need it. I have a current background screening We accept the NNA screen you already carry — you'll never redo a check for us.

Auto insurance carrier My auto policy covers business use (or I'll confirm with my insurer) Personal policies often exclude business driving unless disclosed — a two-minute call to your insurer fixes it.

Before your first dispatch we'll ask for copies: commission certificate, E&O declarations page, auto declarations page, and driver's license — plus your NNA certificate for loan work. Nothing to upload today; just have them handy.
